Transformers Metrobase: Attractions
(Every attraction here is similar to an attraction in Marvel Super Hero Island)
21 - Decepticoaster
E-Ticket
Must be 54 in.
N.E.S.T. has been experimenting with a part taken from the Decepticon Devastator, but their experiments may have gotten out of hand. Now, we have a fast-paced flight around Metrobase. This is like the Incredible Hulk Coaster.
QUEUE:
Guests travel through a lab where Transformer technology is being experimented on. Here, guests can see other machines as well as videos of other experiments conducted on them (most of which have gone horribly wrong.) They then are ushered into a locker room, where guests put their belongings in a two-way locker (similar to the lockers used on the Velocicoaster.) They then proceed into the loading station, where they board their vehicle.
RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The coaster ascends the lift, where gears are turning. At first, things are fine. Then, the gears starting turning quickly and a blue light flashes (during which a photo is taken.) The coaster is then shot into a barrel roll. It descends a hill and goes up half a loop before turning upright and heading over to another half loop. It then goes through a full loop before heading into a tunnel. It moves around the launch area before going into a flip, which leads into a second full loop.
The coaster speeds around before slowing down a bit. It goes off a hill and through another flip before heading back to the loading station, where guests get off. They can see their ride photos on the way out.
22 - Bumblebee Boogie
B-Ticket
Any Height
Guests come into a shady pavilion and move around in teacups-style carts while Bumblebee plays music for them. This is similar to the Storm Force Accelatron attraction.
23 - Megatron's Towers of Doom
D-Ticket
Must be 52 in.
Located in the back of the area are two towers disguised as control towers. However, this is a secret weapon that the Decepticons are using to drain the fear from their human subjects to power their superweapons. The queue builds tension for the rise, but the ride itself is rather relaxing as it goes up and down. This is similar to Doctor Doom's Fearfall and it's the only ride in this land not found in Beijing.
24 - Transformers: Bataile de l'AllSpark (Battle for the AllSpark)
E-Ticket
Must be 40 in.
Using the same ride technology as the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, this 4-D dark ride puts guests in an epic battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons. It is known as Transformers: The Ride 3-D in America.
QUEUE:
Guests enter into N.E.S.T. Headquarters, where giant figures of Optimus Prime and Megatron are standing on top. They proceed into rooms where they are greeted be N.E.S.T. personnel, appearing on screens. They even pass by many Transformer artifacts, most especially the source of life for the robots, the AllSpark.
Then, as they continue through the queue, things get panicky. Lights flash as it is revealed that the Decepticons are attacking, looking for the AllSpark. Guests are assigned to an Autobot named Evac, who will help them get the AllSpark out of the base. They pick up a pair of 3-D glasses before boarding Evac, who serves as their ride vehicle.
RIDE EXPERIENCE:
As the vehicle turns the corner, a panther-like Decepticon named Ravage steals the AllSpark. Evac pursues him, and with help from Bumblebee, he regains the AllSpark. He then leaves the base and goes into the streets of Chicago, where they encounter Optimus Prime. While Optimus begins to fight with Megatron, Grindor chases Evac into a subway station, where his arm is knocked off by a train.
Then, while going underground, Megatron appears and grabs the vehicle. Luckily, Evac shoos him away by shooting a water pipe. Unfortunately, they encounter him again shortly after. He and Optimus continue fighting, launching a missile in the process. Evac escapes through the hole created, only to be sucked out by Devastator.
Evac goes through the streets, helping other Autobots in their fight. However, Devastator returns, and this time, Evac can't get away, so he puts up shields as they go through him. Then, they are caught by Starscream, who smashes them through many buildings before hitting an oil drum. Evac asks if the guests are okay before proceeding into a construction site.
At the site, Optimus is seemingly overpowered by Megatron and orders the guests to protect the AllSpark. Starscream returns, but is forced to retreat when N.E.S.T. helicopters shoo him off. Evac then rescues Optimus by speeding towards Megatron and putting the AllSpark into his chest. However, Megatron pulls Evac down with him, causing them both to fall off the site. Luckily, Evac is caught by Bumblebee.
The vehicle moves past Optimus Prime, who congratulates the guests for their bravery and calls them "freedom fighters." They then proceed through the wreckage, passing underneath a fallen Megatron and even a Volkswagen beetle (Bumblebee's alter ego in the original cartoon series.) From there, they return to the load station and get off.
POST-RIDE:
Guests dispose of their 3-D glasses and enter the Supply Vault, where Transformers merchandise is sold.
