Guests enter the Jurassic World aviary and move past several posters, telling interesting facts about Pteranadons and other flying reptiles. They then go up a ramp to the control station, where a safety video plays. They go into the loading station from there and board the vehicles, which are two-carted, four-seated single-coaster vehicles that are suspended in midair.
RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The ride begins in the aviary. Here, they fly around the spires, trees, and encounter some Pteranadons on a cliff. They then exit through a hole and leave, going around the mountain and across the lake. After moving around some buildings, they head back across the lake and back towards the aviary. They go in through another hole and return to the loading area, where they get off and take a passage out.
19 - Hammond Discovery Center
B-Ticket
Any Height
This interactive building, inspired by the pyramid-like structure seen in the film, is where guests can come in and learn more about dinosaurs. They can interact with computers, play games, design their own dinosaur species, and even learn some facts from Mr. DNA.
20 - Jurassic World Cretaceous Cruise
E-Ticket
Any Height
Guests travel through Isla Nublar on a suspenseful cruise where they must escape the escaped dinosaurs. This uses a similar technology to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Shanghai Disneyland, which turns, moves backwards, and such.
QUEUE:
Guests go into a building where the attraction is advertised. Here, they see advertisements for other attractions, facts about dinosaurs they will encounter, and even some interviews with Claire Dearing, Owen Grady, and Dr. Henry Wu.
Soon, they will proceed into an area where they board a twelve-person boat, with four rows of three. They will come in and pull their lap bars down.
RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The ride begins with a voice welcoming you to the park. Then, doors open and the boats move through an aquarium. A great white shark is swimming there, but it is eaten by the Mosasaurus. Then, the boats head into the jungle, where they come across a stegosaurus and her baby, a herd of parasaurolophus, and some Ankylosaurus.
However, when they reach Paddock 11, things get intense. It is announced that several predators, including the Indominus Rex, have escaped their paddocks. The ship then turns and moves backwards, going down a drop. They come across some dilophosaurus, who spit on them as they go by. They also encounter Compys in a nearby boat, tearing up some clothes. Then, they come across the Indominus Rex itself, which is looming over a crashed gyrosphere. They escape it by moving backwards.
Soon, they enter the abandoned Jurassic Park Visitor Center. Here, the Indominus stalks them, peeking in through holes in the wall. Luckily, Blue and the other raptors appear, leading them out. Then, as guests travel through the jungle again, they see the T-Rex and Indominus Rex fighting each other. They pass beneath the dueling predators before making another drop underneath the park.
Here, they see some screens. Claire Dearing appears and tells them to get to safety, as well as Owen Grady, saying not to panic. They pass by Blue again, who calls to them. Then, they go up a lift, where they return to the main area. Here, the Indominus Rex is seen nearby, smashed into a nearby building. Some jeeps are near it as well, getting ready to clear up the damage. From there, the boats return to the load station, where the guests get off.
POST-RIDE:
Guests go into the Jurassic Traders gift shop, which sells Jurassic merchandise as well as photos taken on the ride.
