How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk: Overview


 OVERVIEW:
Guests walk under a rocky spire with a viking-era machine and pass through a tunnel of orange light. On the other side is a place like no other......this is Berk. Here, guests can find a place where dragons and Vikings live together in heartwarming, hilarious harmony.

This version of Berk, like the Epic Universe land, is set between the second and third How to Train Your Dragon films. It's the golden age of dragons, and here, guests will see them everywhere (literally, everywhere.) They will also be able to see some places from the films, such as the Mead Hall, the village, and more. This is not 100% what is coming to Epic Universe, but a lot of it is featured there.

The best part of this land are the picture-esque views, from the statues of the Vikings in the lagoon, visible from the moment you enter, to the many sights in the village. Who knows? You might even see dragons that you want to take pictures with too......but we'll get to that later.

In short, this is one of two family areas that is fit for all Vikings.

  OVERVIEW: There is a large, high-tech spire with greenery growing on it. On it is the image of a dinosaur, and inside is the tunnel of blue light. This transports guests to a tropical land near a lagoon, where past and present meet. Guests travel to the exotic island of Isla Nublar, where a world 65 million years in the making is. Welcome to Jurassic World, where dinosaurs are seen in real life. This is the realization of John Hammond's (the creator of the original Jurassic Park) dream to create an edutainment park with living, breathing dinosaurs. But even with its beauty, wonder, and advanced technology, danger lurks in every corner. Some dinosaurs are out and on the prowl, and they would like to eat you.....I mean, meet you.

  N - Souvenirs de Berk (Berk Souvenirs) This gift shop, located in the village, is where guests can buy merchandise from the films. This also has a fair share of Viking merchandise too. O - Gobber's Blacksmith Shop Also in the village is where Gobber works. Here, he has toys, apparel, and more dragon things for those who want it. P - Dragon Riders Emporium After flying on Hiccup's Wing Gliders, guests come into this Dragon Rider shop. Here, they can see photos taken of them on the ride as well as more keepsakes from Berk.
