Hollywood: Overview

 

OVERVIEW:
When guests come in from CityWalk, they can see a large, Spanish Mission Revival hotel. In front of that is the Universal globe. However, it's unclear what is behind this building, or if there is even a park at all. But, like Disneyland Paris or Universal Studios Beijing, this hotel actually has the entrance into the park. After going through one of two tunnels, there they are.

But this is no ordinary entrance. They're arrived in Hollywood itself. Here, they will see recreations of several famous buildings, a Walk of Fame model, and even three different theaters, two of which hold shows while the last of which is a ride. They might even spot a celebrity or two in the area, whether it be someone posing as a famous Hollywood icon or characters from the movies.

Then, at the end of the road, guests come across a large lagoon, where nighttime shows play. However, this isn't even the most interesting feature. Surrounding the lagoon are six themed portals with icons and quotes from the franchises. These quotes include "We, My Friends, Have Dragons (How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk)," "Let's-a-Go! (Super Nintendo World)," "Assemble the Minions! (Minion Land)," "Life Finds a Way (Jurassic World: Isla Nublar)," "More than Meets the Eye (Transformers Metrobase)," and "Mischief Managed! (Wizarding World of Harry Potter)." There is even a stage between the portals of Minion Land and Jurassic World: Isla Nublar, where live entertainment occasionally plays too.

  OVERVIEW: There is a large, high-tech spire with greenery growing on it. On it is the image of a dinosaur, and inside is the tunnel of blue light. This transports guests to a tropical land near a lagoon, where past and present meet. Guests travel to the exotic island of Isla Nublar, where a world 65 million years in the making is. Welcome to Jurassic World, where dinosaurs are seen in real life. This is the realization of John Hammond's (the creator of the original Jurassic Park) dream to create an edutainment park with living, breathing dinosaurs. But even with its beauty, wonder, and advanced technology, danger lurks in every corner. Some dinosaurs are out and on the prowl, and they would like to eat you.....I mean, meet you.

O - Gobber's Blacksmith Shop Also in the village is where Gobber works. Here, he has toys, apparel, and more dragon things for those who want it. P - Dragon Riders Emporium After flying on Hiccup's Wing Gliders, guests come into this Dragon Rider shop. Here, they can see photos taken of them on the ride as well as more keepsakes from Berk.
